The activity of the National Observatory of Housing 

The agency ADL  has been charged by the Ministry of Housing of the setting up of the National Observatory  in 1996.

The observatory is assigned to collect, to analyze, to treat and to distribute the necessary information to illuminate and / or to reinforce decisions concerning politics of the lodging.

The works of the observatory have for objective to make available for all operators (State, collectivities, promoters, public,….) the reliable information and regularly updating.

For the setting up of the data bank the following studies are already started or programmed:

• the survey of the market of the lodging,
• the survey of the rental market,
• the survey of real estate market,
• the survey of the system of the follow-up of instruments and acts of urbanism,
• the survey of costs of development and planning,
• the analysis of constraints for the maintenance, renovation and / or the rehabilitation of the existing park,
• the setting up of an indicator system,
• the local plan of housing.
